What is Topi Express by AIVS?
Topi Express is a self-service machine that disinfects, deodorises and sterilises a motorcycle helmet in about 5 minutes for S$5. Riders place the helmet in the chamber and pay by QR code, and UVC light with an eco-friendly disinfectant mist does the rest. AIVS sells refurbished machines to owner-operators from S$1,800.
- About 5 minutes per helmet, S$5 a clean
- UVC light and an eco-friendly disinfectant mist
- Six machines live at motorcycle shops, workshops and a laundromat, one running 24 hours a day
Is a helmet cleaning vending machine profitable in Singapore?
It depends on the location: how many riders pass the machine and how often they stop long enough for a 5-minute clean. Each clean earns S$5. Against that are the machine (from S$1,800), rent, electricity, disinfectant and the optional support plan from S$99 a month. AIVS does not publish earnings figures, so ask AIVS for real usage numbers from comparable sites before you buy.
* Warranty terms apply. Prices in Singapore dollars as published by AIVS, for refurbished machines, before any options. Ask on WhatsApp for the current price, what it includes and the warranty terms.

What riders get
A helmet that is disinfected, deodorised and sterilised in about 5 minutes, using UVC and an eco-friendly disinfectant mist, for S$5. The touchscreen walks them through it and payment is by QR code.
Helmets are worn daily in Singapore's heat, so the machine answers a real need at the places riders visit anyway: workshops, accessory shops, petrol kiosks and even a laundromat.
