What are the limits of UVC light and a mist?
UVC light only acts on the surfaces it actually reaches, so folds, thick padding and the underside of straps get less exposure than the open shell. A mist treats surfaces too; it does not wash sweat or dirt out of foam. AIVS has not published laboratory test results for the machine, so "hygienic" here means a quick refresh between proper cleans, not a medical guarantee.
How is it different from washing the helmet yourself?
